The messages behind our logo, do you know? 

 

LKNU was originally intended to be LK & You; but due to the difficulty in creating email and username that contains the symbol '&' , the name was then changed to LKNU, LK stands for the owner's initials (Ly Khanh), N stands for symbol &, U is our clients regardless of gender, age, race. We want to convey that our service is very individualised, we create the best makeup looks for our clients based on their facial features, makeup needs, skin tone, the occasion and the outfit they will be wearing.

 

The 5 tines on the crown stands for our values: 

- For us LK: we are customer-focused and ethical. Our customers are our number 1 priority. We are also committed to being ethical, that is choosing high quality products, upholding the highest standard of hygiene, and honest in giving you makeup advice based on your needs. 

 

- For customers: we want you to feel happy, beautiful and confident, just like a princess/queen/king! The crown is placed above 'U' to futher emphasise this. 

 

The brush stroke under LKNU is created by a lipstick (instead of a brush) conveys uniqueness and creativity. 

 

Ombre colour is chosen as ombre lips is one of the makeup trends in 2016 - the year LKNU is established. Light purple and light orange are chosen to create the visual effect that contributes to our overall message. Purple is associated with elegance, royalty, nobility, prestige, luxury. Orange is warm, fun, vibrant, sociable, rejuvenating and optimistic. 

 

The ombre lipstick creating a brush stroke going forward lets you know we always go forward, keep our knowledge and skills updated to bring our customer the best makeup experience.
